Zola's has been our family favourite since the year it opened, decades ago.
Yesterday (May 8, Mothers Day) was particularly busy, and the menu was re-imagined to accommodate both guests and kitchen staff.
After so many closures over the last couple of years, it was great to be back to experience the same
excellent service by friendly staff, broad selection on the menu, and a beautiful, fresh, hot presentation of dishes.
Just go. Just try it. Zola's will not disappoint.
Don't forget to shop the take out area on your way home; you will find it difficult to resist!

Excellent Cesar salad with nice light oil dressing, one of the best in Ottawa. Thank you. Lasagna and rosemary crust pizza with different cheese than the menu was much appreciated and melted in our mouth. SO good. Service was efficient and smiling, made sure we were not late for concert. I was surprised to see staff close to me without mask so I have to assume they checked in healthy. Thank you for a memorable dinner.

6 of us dining and every meal was amazingly wonderful. Thank you also for allowing us to have a leisurely dinner catching up with friends.

This was my first time dining at Zolas, after a friend said they dined there years ago. I found the prices to be too inflated , example Cave spring wine that sells for !5 bucks in a wine store cost 15 bucks and they sell it for 48 bucks. The bread served before the meal is cold and not so fresh, ambiance and entrance to the restaurant is dated. washrooms could use a renovation. I will not be returning to this place, for over priced food.

A friend and I enjoyed a most tasty lunch. My chicken pesto wrap was great and the garden salad one of the best since restaurants struggled with getting fresh produce at reasonable prices.
Masks in ON are now optional indoors where a sixth wave growing daily, but in visits to other restaurants this was the only one where our friendly and attentive server was not wearing one.

Excellent service, good but not gluttonous portion sizes and the wine was great. Can't remember the name of the server but she was great. We were seated in the corner table by the front window.

Great entertainment, friendly service, great food! This place is reliable in a good way. Acoustic singer-songwriter Jon Van Wingerden was playing the Friday we were there and was a great addition to the evening. The Zola's Classic pasta was perfect, chicken was moist and not overcooked, the shrimp was spicy and crispy. We'll be back!
