Stopped in for brunch on Wednesday morning. They weren't busy so we were seated right away. The restaurant was clean & we enjoyed the food we were served. We go out for breakfast quite often & I was happily surprised to see that the beans we were served were in their own container on the plate. I gave the service 4 stars because the waitress, although she attended to us & asked if everything was going ok, barely cracked a smile & seemed more interested in chatting with the other staff. Other than that I was completely satisfied with my visit & will be back.Voir plus

It was our first time to dine in @ Zola's & we were impressed from start to end! Caitrin, our server offered outstanding service with a smile - she deserves a commendation. We've been enjoying Zola's for 5 years now after moving from the west coast to Kanata. We love everything about Zola's - Kim is amazing, the chefs fabulous, the pantry items, especially the gluten free items, delicious.

Zola's has been a long-time favourite eatery for years. We had a Christmas/catch-up breakfast with friends, the restaurant was busy & we never felt rushed by staff. Food was delicious. Seeing staff that has worked there for a long time is another great statement about Zola's. Reservations recommended! Merry Christmas Zola's!

I go there often for breakfast. The food is really good, the atmosphere is welcoming & comfortable & the staff is very friendly & thoughtful. We were the first ones in the restaurant for a 5 o'clock sitting,(we got there at 4:50)& she plopped us right in the middle of the room. Our server was attentive, but cold. There was no smile, no friendly chatter, no warmth at all. She did her job, but in the most robotic way possible. Food was good, hot & flavourful. I do not recommend the house wine, it had a vinegar, sour taste. Certainly not the fault of the restaurant, but perhaps they could offer another option as their house wine. I know they're trying to maximize seating capacity, but the tables lined up all in a row, make it feel more like a cafeteria than an intimate restaurant. Being inches away from the table beside you, & in fact sitting beside them- you almost feel like you have to include the adjacent patrons in your conversation. I do love this restaurant, & they do most things very well, but a few tweaks could make a huge difference.
