Waited @ 10 minutes before being acknowledged to be seated. I finally spoke to a young man that we had reservations for 10:30. He finally got a server to seat us. We had 9 persons in our group.
Once we were seated, things went very well. Delicious food. Great service once seated.

Stopped in for brunch on Wednesday morning. They weren't busy so we were seated right away. The restaurant was clean & we enjoyed the food we were served. We go out for breakfast quite often & I was happily surprised to see that the beans we were served were in their own container on the plate. I gave the service 4 stars because the waitress, although she attended to us & asked if everything was going ok, barely cracked a smile & seemed more interested in chatting with the other staff. Other than that I was completely satisfied with my visit & will be back.Voir plus

Zola's has been a long-time favourite eatery for years. We had a Christmas/catch-up breakfast with friends, the restaurant was busy & we never felt rushed by staff. Food was delicious. Seeing staff that has worked there for a long time is another great statement about Zola's. Reservations recommended! Merry Christmas Zola's!

i dont know what happened to this place. it used to be much much better. you used to get warm bread & butter, olive oil & spicy oil to dip it in. this time the bread was room temp, the butter was frozen, completely unspreadable. we had to ask for the oils & they were served in little plastic cups. wth? every single person working on a busy saturday night appeared to be under 25. it didn't seem that anyone with experience in running a restaurant was there. i chose this place for a birthday meal based on very pleasant memories. but after this visit, we will never go back. there are many other much nicer italian restaurants to choose from & this experience was very poor. it felt like it had become a fast good joint.

Saturday morning was busy. Restaurant feels too crowded. Food is delicious but waited over 30 mins for our order.

The food was phenomenal & the service excellent, despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy on a Friday lunch hour & there were only 2 servers! Their fresh homemade pasta & bread rolls are to die for! Yum😋🤤.

We went for blunch on sunday morning. We had our table within 5 min of our reservation time & the place was very busy. Our server was very polite & welcomed us with open arms. We recommend Zolas to all.

As always, the food was fantastic, & the waitresses, more than polite & well meaning, were run of their feet. I know that for a restaurant to be always busy, even now, shows just how loyal & devoted both customers & staff are, but they could really use an extra set of hands, particularly at the front desk, to handle reservations versus walk ins, & also service customers waiting in the same jumbled line to buy from their gourmet shop of pre-made items (some gluten & dairy free, along side the traditional offerings), & intentionally sourced fine Italian ingredients.
We have been coming for 25 years. We will continue coming, because the food is that good, but we will come an at "an off hour", whenever possible. Luckily most of their menu is available all day, & they are more than accommodating if they are able to be, should you ask off menu. Thank you Zolas for sustaining that true "family restaurant" feel. It's hard to come by these days.

We were seated in a very nice, quiet corner & had just ordered when a party of 10 people & a baby were seated across from us. It took some time - over half an hour to get food because our server was very busy with the large group. We ended up not being able to order dessert because we had theatre tickets & it took so long to get dinner.
The food was very good but the whole experience was a bit frustrating. The restaurant isn't large so it was impossible to hear each other over the exuberant birthday party conversation.
We'll definitely ask if there are large parties booked if we make a reservation.

Food was great, service was fast even though it was very busy & I don't think there was much staff! Easy to book reservation online as well.

Short staffed & too busy to even acknowledge our 20 + min wait at the door for guests with pre-booked reservation. Staff finally needed to be accosted & we were brought to a table remote from the live entertainment - opposite to reservation request. Once seated, food & service was very good.

Zola's has been our family favourite since the year it opened, decades ago.
Yesterday (May 8, Mothers Day) was particularly busy, & the menu was re-imagined to accommodate both guests & kitchen staff.
After so many closures over the last couple of years, it was great to be back to experience the same
excellent service by friendly staff, broad selection on the menu, & a beautiful, fresh, hot presentation of dishes.
Just go. Just try it. Zola's will not disappoint.
Don't forget to shop the take out area on your way home; you will find it difficult to resist!
