Although the empanadas were slightly cold in the middle, they were some of the best empanadas I've had in town. Very flavourful sauces and empanadas. I tried every empanada. I strongly recommend the shredded beef and chicken ones. The cheese empanada was a bit sweeter than ones I've had before. Would come again.View more

The ambiance is great and the service excellent but I can't say I enjoyed my meal. The calamari were very hard and cold and so was the chicken on my Ceasar salad. I like that you can bring your wine. This place is my favorite sushi in Ottawa. The sushi is fresh and delicious, staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. To date this is one of the few places where I can feed my family of 4 to full, for a reasonable price. The sashimi is thick slices and the rolls are very flavourful. The food was to die for. I had the lobster saffron risotto and it has a perfect balance of spice, savoury, and a little acidity that brightened the whole thing up. My partner had the halibut steak and frites and it was cooked perfectly. While the fries are not a traditional thin cut Belgian style, they were some of the best fries I've had bar none. The cocktails were adventurous but perfectly crafted. We did go on a Sunday when things were a little slower but I could imagine oyster night being a little chaotic. They are also incredibly accommodating to dietary restrictions.View more

My friends and I love coming to this location. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Food always fresh and delicious. We have had very good pizza in the past from this shop. However, I am not prepared to subject myself again to the rudest treatment from a business that I have faced in many decades. We ordered a pizza on Saturday evening, 2024-04-06. The order taker confirmed that the prices in our flyer were still valid. A few minutes later, we noticed that the total price quoted was somewhat higher than the price of the pizza plus delivery plus tax on both. We called back. The order taker was somewhat agitated and insisted that he was not responsible for the price shown on his computer. He hung up on us. 55 minutes later, no pizza and we called again. We patiently explained that we still wanted the pizza and would discuss the price problem with his manager on another occasion. The order taker became very agitated and slammed the phone down on us. An angry refusal to take a look at a total price higher than the individual items plus tax cannot help but leave a customer suspicious of impropriety.
Kettlemans Bagel is cut back on the sizing of their bagels over the years and now reduced them to a miniature donut, yet their prices has sky rocketed. 1/2 sized bagels for more than now doubled the price there ingredients can't even stay in the bagel. STOP RIPPING OFF THE CONSUMER YOU GREEDY PRICK JEFF YORK GIVE THE CONSUMER A FAIR PRODUCT FOR FAIR PRICING. Mr B's was well above our expectations, delicious food, wonderful service, warm and cozy ambience. We enjoyed wonderful home made pasta in rich delicious sauces and pizza. The servers were friendly and kind. Service was quick. Highly highly recommend!!
AVOID AT ALL COST. Food was cold and tasteless and service was horrible. Manager is a joke who can't put two events on 4+ televisions. Washrooms were disgusting with'plugged up' toilets. Saw what seemed to be a cockroach in bar area too. Will never return and definately would NOT recommend even to my worst enemy.
January 2024 I used to go to Oh So Good!, I consumed a cappuccino and a piece of cake. The quality of the cake wasn't like before. I also requested a glass of tap water and they denied it, they told me that if I want water I need to buy a bottle of water. The owner said that it's a business and he can't offer a glass of tap water. It's sad that he lost a client after a lot of years going to that place. We deserve good services.
