The food was to die for. I had the lobster saffron risotto & it has a perfect balance of spice, savoury, & a little acidity that brightened the whole thing up. My partner had the halibut steak & frites & it was cooked perfectly. While the fries are not a traditional thin cut Belgian style, they were some of the best fries I've had bar none. The cocktails were adventurous but perfectly crafted. We did go on a Sunday when things were a little slower but I could imagine oyster night being a little chaotic. They are also incredibly accommodating to dietary restrictions.View more

Wonderful date night at Le Poisson Bleu. We had the pleasure of sitting at the chef's counter where we observed beautiful colorful dishes put together. • Despite the busy evening, Chef Alex Bimm ensured we felt welcomed by exchanging a few words & preparing us a special custom spätzle off the menu dish. New Year's Eve dinner was mostly strange, strong cocktails & small hors d'oeuvres & not enough food to absorb the alcohol. We asked for more to eat, even bread o risotto, & I had to order more from the same menu as there was no other food available according to the server. We ordered 12 oysters & 10 shrimps above the New Year's menu & did not have the last course & drink pairing as we had enough alcohol & it was fish with chocolate sauce, which wasn't enticing ,& our bill was $475 for 2 people plus an $80 tip to be polite. I also told the server twice, & Open Table, that it was my wife's birthday & it was ignored.View more
