My husband made reservations at @savoybrasserie in Ottawa for Valentine's Day, and we had a horrible experience. When we arrived, place was beautifully decorated and pretty much fully packed. The host was very nice and hospitable. However, the rest of staff was rude, abrasive, unnecessary sarcastic and totally out of line for yelling/ pushing customers. I was really upset and my husband and I left before ordering anything. @savoybrasserie my public message to you (because I am very sure I was not the only person who felt cringy there) is while you take the time and effort to decorate your restaurant beautifully, and probably provide a nice dinner, you should also train all your staff on how to be respectful and learn some manners. I appreciate that there was a lot of people, in a tight space, that the staff was trying to tend too. However if someone is going to pay to have a fancy meal - especially on Valentine's Day - your staff shouldn't disrespect them.#ottawafoodies #ottawavalentinesday #savoybrasserie #badcustomerservice #food #fail
