Enjoyed my first visit to VT.
Went for dinner with my wife.
She had the Veal with veggies & a mushroom sauce.
She enjoyed the flavour but found the choice of veggies weren’t really on par with the overal flavour.
The veal was very flavourful but not as tender as one would expect.
I had the chicken parm. Chicken was a little over cooked, & slightly too much breading. But the fettuccini, only red, came with a light sauce, similar to Alfredo but much lower on garlic with a generous splash of pesto. I really enjoyed it. Al dente & great flavour.
I had a good Caesar
Salad before hand, & we followed it up with a mouse cake which was delicious & definitely made to share.
The environment was fantastic. So much room, no one sitting on top of you, very intimate & not too loud with music or voices.
& service was top notch. From the busboy who was there to clear plates bring bread etc. to the waiter who was friendly & fast.
The only thing we would have liked is if the specials of the day were told to us. We never got them, & only knew from listening to another waiter.
But overall we had a great experience.
But be forewarned. This is a pricey dinner location.View more
