20230903 Here are my comments from my 1st visit:
- The young staff appeared to be inexperience but once I got their attention, they were egar to help.
- Food arrived shortly after we had put in our order at the counter. No prob there.
- The crêpe was excellent !!!! The chai latte was too syrupy for my taste.
- We really liked the garden setting which really enhanced our eating experience.
We will definitely come back & try other items on the menu.
Tip: If you can't find parking behind the restaurant or on the streets, try the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre. There are always ppl coming & going there.Voir plus
I really want to give this place 5 stars: the food is great, the ambience is also excellent - especially the patio area - & there is usually parking available.
The one caveat is the service has been a hit or miss for us Sometimes they go the extra mile & are super accommodating for things like adding ham to your breakfast. Other times, they simply aren't willing to accommodate.
Still recommended, just hope you get a nice cashier.Voir plus
First time I visited this place. Upon arrival, I wasn’t greeted by a staff member, or directed to a table. After spending 30 minutes trying to find an empty table I finally ordered. I ordered the classic breakfast for $16(+ Tax). The food took 30 minutes to arrive & wasn’t even hot. The bread was to thick making it be barely buttered & very bland. The fried potatoes were tasty on the outside but on the inside were undercooked. The omelette was bland & there was barely any bacon & it was over cooked & cold. It was hard as a brick but did taste quite nice. Overall the environment of this place is really nice, gives you a feel of a small village, however it is for the sole purpose of attracting tourists. The food was not really good & it was a little to busy for my liking.Voir plus
