Where do I begin!? EVERYTHING here is fabulous! From the portions (not a plate full of frozen, fried potato chunks! to the homemade freshness of everything they make, to the playlist (70's Soul Classics! last time), to the way they top your coffee up, & don't forget thier amazing & friendly staff. Damn! I can't say enough! (Shhhhh....TBH, I thought about not posting this just so I can still get a spot when I go!) But, it's the wait to get in even IF there's a lineup! The Third is a great neighborhood restaurant on Wellington St. in Ottawa. We went for lunch on a Tues. It was very busy. Great service, delicious food - brisket sandwich w caesar salad. Just what we wanted. We'll be going back.View more

So good. The'Third Place' Philosophy is beautiful to experience in action... Grab a lovely supper with a friend again, without feeling strained in the wallet. Good tunes, good vibes, only complaint is it's not quite big enough for all the folks wanting in. Amazing business.View more

I called & ordered take away. I had the club sandwich & fries, which is the same order from my first visit a couple of months ago. The fries had too much salt on them both times, but the club sandwich is very good. I like the reasonable prices & the selection of food available. I will definitely eat here again & would recommend it.View more

Amazing food, great service but it's very cramped & very loud so if you are sensitive to auditory/crowds maybe go in the afternoon before the evening dinner rush comes. I had a great meal, but it was just a little TOO overestimating for me at dinner.View more

Hands down the best breakfast I've had all year. I'm excited to go back & try lunch & dinner menus too! I had the savory tart with bacon & oh my my it was delish. Hand made pastry with a sunnyside egg on top. I also had the fried chicken add on & it was hiding under a perfectly cooked fresh egg. The flavours were amazing & the hand made quality of the hot sauce & jam for toast was impeccable. Bravo to the chefs & the servers were also amazing & really authentically enjoyed being there.View more
