We had a (Woodroffe) High School reunion just over a month ago at the Richmond Road Clocktower Brew Pub - apologies for delayed review - & it was fantastic! The General Manager Jay was tremendous in terms of setting us up for success. His guidance, suggestions & recommendations were spot on. Jessica & her back-room team absolutely delivered on the day. Speaking of back-room that's what they have here (with no extra $ room charge by the way unlike other places, including HDMI big screen TV input for video playback & microphone set-up for free). Creative sliding doors on 2 side generate the group intimacy while still being part of a buzzing/vibrant environment within the pub. We did a lot of research in terms of locations for a 35-40 person gathering & this place topped them all. You don't often get quality, price & efficient/professional delivery all at the same time, but we did at this place. Top shelf all the way. Would highly recommend. Nice place, friendly staff, good food. Not a fan of sports channel televisions & we haven't been served by the same staff more than once though we've been a few times at the same time of day during different days of the week, but no complaints; some staff are good & some are great. Drinks & food are tasty & well designed, with good portions & prices. Has quickly become a go-to spot for lunch for my wife & I. Parking is sometimes an issue, but at worst it's a short walk from an available spot.Voir plus

This is a great place for a small gathering. They have a large enough menu to accommodate most tastes (pub fare/family restaurant style - not haute cuisine) & they handled our large group very well. The hostess/server/oft-mixologist for our room, Jessika, never made us feel like a bother (no matter how often we bothered her) & Jay, manager of the venue, was also easy to work with.
I would recommend again to anyone wanting good service for a special event at a casual-dining establishment.

Big fan of the clocktower! The service is always top notch, lovely, welcoming, & kind. The food is a versatile tile range & the kitchen is happy to accommodate dietary requirements. A nice brew pub with a good selection of their own beers. They have some other popular beers too. No apparent parking & in a busy area, but on-street parking can usually be found nearby. I always get a table right away.Voir plus
It was as expected for a brew pub. The fish & chips, supposedly their signature dish was so so. Their hone fries are definitely better than the regular ones. Good brew choices.Voir plus
