For our wedding anniversary we decided to try somewhere we haven't been before & we decided to go here. We both love Indian foods & this place was spot on, staff were very friendly & we were stuffed to the point we couldn't finish everything & didn't even want to look at the dessert menu. Ordered 5 curries. Worst chicken biryani we've ever tasted. Don't know what spices were used. Chick pea curry, however, was great. Remaining dishes were mediocre at best. Not worth the money. Will not return.Voir plus
We ordered 2 Thali one vegetarian & one Maha thali with 2 protein. Food really was just ok . Nothing special about it for the amount you pay for it ! Ambience is nice & welcoming. You have to look for street parking & pay for it. Service at the restaurant was not exceptional & one of the servers was very rude & loud when I asked about refills . With two Thalis & 3 drinks we ended up paying about$150 (food+tip) .Voir plus
A well maintained restaurant serving Kerala (a south Indian state) meals in a fine dining setting. I have been to several indian restaurants across Canada, but this one surprised me. I had a chicken thali & it was good. The service was excellent & they accommodated my request well. Price is a bit on the high end however.Voir plus
This restaurant is top notch! The food is always absolutely flavorful & delicious. I always leave with a'doggy bag''. The service is warm & friendly. I also like the ambiance. This is one of my faves for getting together with family & friends. I especoally love the mushroom curry, so very tasty, you don't miss the meat! &, I always order their mango lassie, I find it goes nicely with those spicy dishes.Voir plus

Thali is a fantastic restaurant. The eight savoury dishes that come with the signature thali are all flavourful & unique. The rice, paratha, & pappadum make for excellent vehicles for the curries, & the rice pudding they include is a nice touch. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for solo diners, as they can try a wide variety of Indian dishes on one plate. I could imagine bringing clients here as well for a nice change of pace from the usual pubs & steakhouses. The servers are friendly & efficient. I will say that the room lacks personality. One really feels like they're eating on the ground floor of a glass tower. However, the chairs are comfortable & the room is bright & clean, so it's a perfectly fine dining space. I will definitely be going back to try some of the seasonal curries!Voir plus
