Pubwell's is your cozy, friendly, & welcoming Canadian pub, a local staple & the place you want to visit if you want to experience a traditional piece of Canadiana culture. A lot of care & attention to detail have gone into crafting an environment that is familiar yet festive & very local, here our Canadian heritage comes to eat delicious food & hearty drinks & share a good unassuming time. From the occasional "Sens" game to the timely rugby match, not a sports bar, but a community experience from all walks of life, you could not get it any more real than this. Food wise you can't go wrong, from the pinwheel pizza to the most classic burger or the house poutine you'll not be disappointed, fresh tasty ingredients from meat lovers to veggie lovers everything is carefully prepared & presented with a smile. The beer selection is really good & on tap! from local breweries & imported, also not to be missed is the owners own aged cocktails, French Connection, Manhattan, & Negroni, a whole new experience. So, Pubwell's is an experience that should not be overseen if you are visiting Ottawa in our Centretown West sector at the beginning of Little Italy. Just a word of advice, you might want to check with the friendly staff for reservations since it gets busy! But it's really worth it.Voir plus

Always a great atmosphere, drinks, food. It's always our first go to when looking to stay in the neighborhood or looking for a (mostly) chill night out. Think it's very decently priced too. Usually don't like live music at restaurants/pubs but have enjoyed every person/band I've heard here so far!Voir plus

I had an excellent time at Pubwells this Sunday. The food was delicious - I ordered the smoked meat pizza & a side of fries. The pizza came loaded with fresh ingredients & the fries were seasoned with a touch of herbs. Really great! But best of all was the service I got from the bartender (& apparently only from of house staff that afternoon) Leanne. She was so kind & welcoming! Overall, I had an excellent visit & can't wait to be back.Voir plus
