We love Petit Bills. They have good food (especially the Clam Chowder) & know how to make a great Martini! We celebrated an anniversary there & they treated us like gold. We look forward to going back many more times.Voir plus

Maybe one of the best in Ottawa! Cozy atmosphere with an amazing wine selection! The food was 11/10. The steak sandwich perfection. Fish & chips were arguably one the best I've had in Canada!Voir plus
Brought me back to Newfoundland. Great chowdeVoir plus
Was there two weeks ago on a Thursday with a friend of mine. The food (fish snd chips, & clam strips/fries) was excellent. The service by the waitress (unfortunately whose name I cannot remember) was lop notch. All I can remember is that she normally works two nights a week but happened to be working that Thursday. Would definitely go again!Voir plus

We had a great family lunch today at this cosy little family restaurant. Our server was very attentive, warm & welcoming, the food was above expectations. The place looks like an art gallery so 5 stars for the atmosphere. All of our little quirks found a proper & accommodating response from the staff. I loved the steak with the lobster tail add-on. The desserts were made from scratch on spot & were pretty good. & something I would add as feedback (& this is typical to lots of North America based joints that lack the European espresso culture, I know this is minuscule but still) I ordered a double espresso & got a Lungo. The server was so nice I didn't say anything cause it was a perfect lunch & we all had such a great time. The owner (Bill's son) a guys in his 60s came around a few times & checked if everything is ok, which made us fell important. I would definitely come again, it was a great choice -next time we'll go for the Lobster risotto :)Voir plus
What a hidden gem in Ottawa! From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave you have the best service. The food was incredibly delicious, you can tell how much thought & effort goes into their cooking. Our waitress was amazing! So impressed, highly recommend!Voir plus

Best restraint in Ottawa. Amazing local fresh food served in the best atmosphere, you can’t beat it.Voir plus
Chowder was the best one I have had, which was extremely strange given that Ottawa is not a coastal city! The idea of an haute-cuisine Newfoundland restaurant (after the sad closure of Raymond's) may be strange, but this place is awesome. Also had the beef short rib (extremely tender, completely melted fat, & I don't know how long they spent reducing the red wine gravy... but probably an eternity), lobster poutine & their snapper. All is great, & the portion sizes are actually big enough to fill you, in that despite being haute cuisine, I would not have starved with just a main (for reference I'm a 215lb CrossFit Junkie). Would highly highly recommend this restaurant, & note that their higher prices actually come with good quantities of food (other Ottawa restaurants - please emulate!).
Service is also excellent, with the owner seeking constant feedback on dishes. Sure this will help them constantly improve & is a nice practice.Voir plus
We had a lovely time at Petit Bill’s for our anniversary lunch, where the staff treated us to champagne & attentive service. We enjoyed all of our food, which was well worth the price. We found the mussels & fries delicious, & cooked perfectly.Voir plus
The food, drinks, & service were exceptional. Everything felt personal & tasted hand crafted. We really enjoyed our experience!Voir plus
Fantastic food, service & atmosphere all come together to make Petit Bill’s one of Ottawa’s great dining experiences! My wife & I came to try their Newfoundland dinner event & we were not disappointed. Each of the courses we chose had its own unique flavour that was somehow nostalgic & homey, despite neither of us being from the region. It was clear that each element was chosen to add a certain depth of flavour to the dishes. The standouts for us were the seafood chowder, cod fritters, Jiggs dinner (as pictured), & the apple crumble for dessert. The apple crumble alone is something we both agreed we would enthusiastically come back for in the future. It was baked perfectly, so that the apple still had some tartness to it, while also taking on a delicious, buttery texture. The crumble had an excellent crispiness to it while still instantly melting in your mouth with every bite. The apple crumble is not a regular menu item, but now we really wish that it was, so we could have it more often! We really loved our time here at Petit Bill’s, & we will definitely be returning in the future to try more of their regular menu.Voir plus
