Went in Thursday wasn't sure if I wanted the pizza or the breakfast or try something else. I asked for a recommendation for lunch & the Club Sandwich was recommended. I went with it. Anyway. It was tremendous. I highly recommend it. This restaurant is awesome & I'll be heading back over soon for breakfast with my dad.Voir plus

If you are looking for a Pizza in Ottawa that has a unique & authentically Canadian appeal, Go see Moe. After seeing the sights in our nation's Capital we went looking for a place to enjoy a dinner that wasn't produced by some minimum wage employee working for a chain. Upon finding Newport, we could tell from our car driving by that we needed to stop as the enclosed patio seemed filled with locals who clearly knew something we didn't. As soon as we walked in & smelled the freshness of the ingredients & felt the warmness of the staff we knew we'd stopped at the right place. The pizza it's self was fantastic, The dough tasted rich & freshly raised with a hint of real yeast & hand folded & tossed consistancy rather than just some frozen frisbee crust. The tomato sauce was flawlessly spiced & prepared & the cheese & meats were cut by a butcher not a machine. You can tell that the owner cares not only about his customers but his product. If you are looking for a taste of napoli & won't settle for anything but a true certified italian za, this isn't for you. This is a thicker more traditional Canadian Home made pizza that is hearty & filling, not a cracker with toppings but a meal in it's self (although we did also order the spagetti & meatballs just to try that too & it was great) I wish more people took as much pride in who they were & what they did as the owner of this place, he was great, polite, kind & asked us how things were & what he could do to make our visit better. He even tried to excuse himself for being a little slower than normal as he'd hurt his arm recently. Still he was more engaged in serving us & the other tables than anything else & our meal was brought out rapidly & without anything missing. There were a few other guys trying to rush out & being a little rude & the level of customer service he showed them by being understanding even while very busy with multiple tables was a class in understanding that the customer is always right. Say what you want but Moe's generation understands that in a way these kids staring at thier phones all day will never get. Thank you for all you do Moe. This place is now on our family's map & we will be back one day for sure, we only hope to be sat in your section, your attitude & work ethic is as satisfying as the food it's self.Voir plus

Classic dinner breakfast ! They have gluten free bread for those of us who can't eat it. Their potatoes are also gluten free. Pretty tasty, & quick/ efficient service.Voir plus
I went there quite a few years ago, & it was pretty bad. The waiters were rude, the food was slow, & the general experience was mediocre. At a school I had gone to, you could buy pizza at lunch, & it came from this place. The pizza was waaaay too oily, had way too much cheese for its sauce, & the crust was wet.Voir plus

First time there in years. The breakfast is better than ever. They've upped their game. The steak & eggs are great. Same old vibe. Moe hangs around & he's still the mensch he's always been.
