The service of the owner is awful, if you want to eat there the force you a minimum consumption & don't allow you to share with the people you come. The place is horrible, it stinks & the place has a really dark atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend going there.View more
The food was regular. The encurtido (cabbage, carrot salad to top the popular with) it was stale like it had been sitting in the container for months. I've had good popusas before I have Salvadoran friends but this, wasnt it. It was pricey for the quality. Although Service was excellent. The food mart is the best thing about La cabana.View more

So delicious! If you want a taste of all that is Salvadorean food this is definitely the spot in Ottawa for it! There's even a Latin grocery store beside if you want to take home some goodies!View more
Hear me out: I snapped a photo while I was waiting for my food to go & then at home we demolished it so fast no one remembered to take photos. But how could I not leave a review if I enjoyed them so much?? Next time I’m in Ottawa I’ll try to do a better job photographing the food. The pupas were delicious & we should have got more cassava fries. They were a hit too.View more

My significant other is a latina & nowhere else in Ottawa does she get the same satisfaction as eating pupusas de queso y chicharrón, y plátano frito then from la Cabana. We usually go in emergency situations where she's getting hangry so I appreciate the quick service at reasonable prices.View more
