Grounded has been a staple of mine for years. The food here is INCREDIBLE. I am impressed every time I go. The kitchen staff & owner care about the quality of food they provide. Not only that, they are not afraid to exercise creativity with their cooking. I have seen their concept menus first hand & it is inspiring. Don't get me started with the cocktails - they build their own recipes & take strenuous steps to make sure they are incredible. Get a Grey Wolf you won't regret it.View more
This is a gem in Ottawa for any foodie!! This place can not be visited only once. This restaurant is non-assuming from the outside, but once you enter, you know you will be in for a good time. The drinks are amazing & the food is even better. We reserved ahead of time as we were a group of 8 celebrating a b-day. We opted for several plates to share. All we're excellent!! I had the brussel sprout salad & the tuna tartare. The salad was definitely filling enough on its own, so I was happy I was sharing the tartare. The salad had a peach vinegrette that was really special. Absolutely delicious. Will return.View more

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. Went here for dinner for a family dinner & the entire experience just exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered several shareables for the table & each one was just as delicious as the last, the brisket was my favourite especially. They were able to make their espresso martini decaf, which was also one of best espresso martinis I've had. On top of all of that, the service was just amazing. Our server was quick, attentive & very friendly & kind. Hands down the best experience I've had at any restaurant in Ottawa. I will definitely be coming back here as soon as I get the chance.View more

I have frequented this establishment a handful of times & am never disappointed. Todays experience was no different. I enjoyed the tuna tartare & my friend had the smoked brisket bowl. We were both thrilled with our meals & also very much appreciated the excellent service & atmosphere.View more

Ordered a BBQ Bowl with brisket & a starter of brisket. it was cooked perfectly! Melt in your mouth kinda tender! Fancy Fries are HUGE! A wee too salty tasting for my liking & I prefer crispy fries. These were soft. Hand cut though! Deeply appreciate that!View more
