The prices has definitely increased since the last time I visited. It was $12.50 for a large with extra cheese. It used to be $12.50 for a family size. Nonetheless the poutine is always good. The fries are greasy & fried In peanut oil. The cheese curds I believe are St. Alberts. It’s what you expect a good poutine to taste like. I don’t go very often so the price isn’t an issue - it’s a once in a while treat. They close down In December for the winter months.Voir plus
During my visit to the Fritomania, I found the prices to be reasonable, although although when adding fries & drink makes your ordinary burger in the $15 range. The cash-only policy can be quite a hassle. The burgers were unfortunately below average, lacking in taste compared to other options available in Ottawa. Friendly service from everyone in the stand, incredible poutine. Have been coming here for years, visited yesterday just before closing. Potatoes are fried in peanut oil, fresh & delicious fries & gravy with squeaky cheese. This is top quality poutine outside of Québec. Will be returning anytime I want poutine in Ottawa.Voir plus
