Really good Jamaican food given the lack of quality options in Ottawa. Hours can be spotty. & another reviewer is right - only go between 1-2:30pm otherwise it could be busy & they'll have run out of some items.View more

Growing up in Scarborough ON I was spoiled for choice when it came to Jamaican (& Trini, & Guyanese...) food. Since moving to Ottawa however I have not found a spot that delivered the flavour hit I was craving...until today, that is. Got the oxtail, which was succulent, fall-off-the-bone & served over a bed of rice & peas with mixed veg, & a chicken pattie that had the best crust I've had on ANY pastry in a while. Bonus: the owner/chef is a super-nice guy. I will be back again very soon for sure.View more

Amazing spot with beautiful ambience. The food is super proper & tasty, service is A1 as well. The Pattie's are great too. Mango juice be bussing. All in all it's a good idea whenever you're really hungry.View more
