I have eaten at many breakfasts places, but Chez Cora in kanata by far is the best & delicious breakfast i have ever had & their staff is so friendly. Hands down you have to come here & try their breakfast. We will definitely be regulars here.View more
This location didn't disappoint. Went in for brunch around 10:20 today & just beat the rush. We were a table of 9 who they fit within about 10 minutes. It got quite busy so our meal took some time but everyone enjoyed it & we weren't rushed to leave.View more
Apparently this location is struggling financially. During winter, there may be little to no heat. During the summer, there has not been air conditioning, just a DeWalt fan. The cooks may have little training or experience. Eggs benedict are rarely cooked properly. Omelettes are not made properly. Ice water consists of cool tap water with the possibility of a few ice cubes, maybe. Service can be quick, & more often than not, the servers do return to the table to check if anything is required. The fruit is always fresh. Going there during warm weather is fine, but now that the temperature is cold at night, it is very uncomfortable in the restaurant. Not only is the ambient temperature chilly, but the chairs & tables are very cool. It does not make for a good dining experience. The owner stated in spring that there were problems with the HVAC. They need to correct that situation. I will not return until warmer weather. & if the owner is adjusting the thermostat at night, it is false savings. It costs less to keep the temperature steady, plus you are not driving away customers.View more

We went there a few months ago, we were told the wait time was 5-15 mins, we wrote our name on the list. 35 mins later watching other families being seated before us, naturally i asked our status, to find out they had crossed us off as if we had been seated already. Fine. it was a mistake, so what did they do, they made a young family with a toddler to get up & told us to sit there. So uncalled for. We did not make a fuss for this to transpire. I was so shocked, I hesitated. The cora guy looked at me & said "are you going to sit or what?" There was lots of seating available, I was willing to wait as long I was the next to be seated. No apology to the family they up rooted, forget me. Then a 50min wait for breakfast! & the bill was given to me while I was eating 10 mins in. Who does that? who gives you the bill when you have just started eating? There was a lady called "Eugene" there she was the only reason I stayed. I told her about our wait after ordering, she convinced me to stay. I have no idea what has happened to this place? has management changed? It was a awful start to the day. Clueless rude staff! There was an old person behind us who got seated right at the front of the restaurant, he politely said can I please sit at the back where its quiet, Im here alone. The waitress laughed & said Nooo.
