Bite Burger House is simply the best burgers I've had in Ottawa. Why did I only rate it 4 stars? There isn't a half-star option (4.5) & I'm leaving them room to impress me again the next time we visit. Seriously, the first time we visited, by mid-meal we were already talking about the next time. After the second visit, we were talking about bringing our bringing visiting family over the holidays. The food is great. The the service is personable & attentive.Voir plus
Good selection of beef burgers, few options for chicken or vegetarian burgers, & a limited number of other entrées. I wouldn't sit at the back (by the doors) as staff go in & out (noisy & cold breeze). Overall, good food, great homemade ketchup, & a nice chill spot to eat!Voir plus
If you are looking for some dirty delicious grub, Bite Burger House is a good place to satisfy most burger cravings. • The menu offers a large selection of burger as well as other options & allows for flexibility / substitutions which were greatly appreciated. Friendly attentive service. • Overall, nicely cooked burger & tasty fries. The homemade mustard & ketchup were a nice touch. I've eaten here two times & the burgers just aren't great. The second time was the clincher though when I got a stale bun that fell apart, was the chicken burger not the regular buns, & ended up having to skip the bun & eat with a fork & knife. I was starving & hadn't eaten anything that day & it was close. Rookie mistake. It tasted off. I suffered with a case of food poisoning that night... Not pleasent. I wanted to like the place but that was the clincher. I won't be back. The waitress was nice.Voir plus
My main problem with a phenomenal pepper crusted 8 oz burger is that it's a lot of food, especially if you're eating it with a side of the creamiest, most delicious mac & cheese I've had in a long time. I couldn't finish my meal, & it's never quite as good reheated, but by golly was it worth every penny.Voir plus
Fantastic Food , inventive & unpretentious menu is really an understatement. You could drop in from anywhere in the world & feel at home in no time. You cannot buy authentic & personable service . A Cozy burger place in a quiet part of the Byward Market. They have a nice selection of unique burgers, & what we ordered (the Za Burger & Burning Love) was delicious. Our server Natasha was wonderful! Looking forward to coming back.Voir plus

Unfortunately we weren’t a huge fan of our meals . Everyone’s pallet is different but the burger patties had a very distinct seasoning, which just wasn’t for us. Gravy for the poutine may have been a peppercorn gravy? It wasn’t bad but wasn’t crazy over it either. Truffle fries were wonderful though! They also have such a quaint little terrace to sit out on & our server was incredible !Voir plus

I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at Bite; it's one of my go-to spots in Ottawa.
