I started with the "sage advice" cocktail. Delicious, but disappointed they put persecco in it instead of champagne per the menu. Service was very good, but a a few times we had to wait for plates while dishes were already on the table. My wife had the "bespoke" wine pairing & I had the "full"; on three occasions we were served the same wine which I found odd. The wines should be different labels in my opinion. The uni, baked oyster & pork belly were all amazing, the Foie Gras with focaccia took the cake in my opinion. We did the 40 bites tasting menu which comes in six "waves" with multiple dishes at once. Food was amazing overall I just felt the experience didn't match the price tag - which of course can be remedied with small changes. Incredible overall & definitely recommended.View more
Balanced minimalism with creativity. A plain grey door on a brick building, stepping inside is a world of culinary innovation. Reminded me of the Ultraviolet in Shanghai.View more

What a night. Nick was fabulous bringing us all around the world. We truly enjoyed this unique experience. A bucket list goal achieved!View more
For some reason the servers felt the need to yell every course to everyone in the restaurant. This cheapened the experience & was extremely uncomfortable. I would 2nd guess ever going back based on this experience & would direct my foodie friend to go elsewhere to spend over $500 per person for the night. It's a shame because the food was innovative & very delicious.View more
This was truly an amazing experience. I spent $680 here for dinner for 2, fine dining small meals, was well worth it, you won't regret itView more
I give a 4 of 5 rating for the meal considering the michelin star pricing, as experientially that's what Atelier is competing with & seemingly shooting for.
Several of the 40 courses felt like they didn't belong, by either being in-cohesive relative to the overall meal, or just boring despite being prepared well. The carrot tweel while actually being cohesive, tasty, & interesting, cut my mouth before it melted down. We were full before the delicious dessert leaving us overstuffed by the time we left. I think Atelier drags itself down with the number of courses & would be stronger by dropping about 5 of them, leaving the ones that really stand out, & editing some to provide a more cohesive journey.
My last critique is admittedly petty, but when you're wanting to enjoy a space for 4 hours the ambiance starts to matter more: the white half of the upstairs dining room looks cheap not chic which really throws off the feel of things depending on where you're seated.
Somm & service however was 5 stars. Extra props to Devon!
To be clear, we did have a great time. I just feel like with the talent Atelier has, it can be made even better.View more
Loved, loved, loved the experience. Although it's a little pricey, it was worth every penny. Everyone should try it at least once.
