We just got back from my mothers birthday dinner at the Keg Manor. We were eat upstairs in our own little corner, which was perfect as 5 out of the 11 guests were 9 & under. We had Shaddy as our main waitress & she could not have been more fantastic. Between switching seats, half the guests being late with car trouble, very specific food requests & just the chaos of a family eating out in a class establishment, she handled it all with ease. She was accommodating to the children & kind & quick. The food, as always, was fantastic but it was our lovely server that stood out tonight.View more

Came here for my first time on Sunday, it was my anniversary with my boyfriend. My server Eden was amazing. Eden went above & beyond my expectations & truly made this a night to remember for my boyfriend & I. Billy minor cake is must try! We will be back, thank you again!View more

Beautiful restaurant, great staff & service, but when you show up to The Keg on a Thursday at 6:30 pm looking forward to having some prime rib & they tell you they have none left, that's a big fail. The peppercorn steak I ordered instead of the prime rib was cooked perfectly but it was mostly steak spice in the crust, which was overly salty & rather unpleasant.View more
I really like Keg manor but the last 3 times we ate there the steaks were not cooked to our liking. It was over cooked & requested medium rare came out as well done & salty unfortunately which is disappointing for a steakhouse. I don't send the food back as I don't want to cause drama & want to still enjoy the dining experience but would like to provide feedback as I really like the atmosphere & the ambiance. The servers are professional & the dining experience is great.. it's just the steaks that need improvement...View more
Good food & very good service. The portions are great & there's all the complementary stuff. The Guinness braised lamb was a great piece of meat & the mushroom crab & cream cheese appetizer was super good. It would be cool if there was more little varieties of vegetables instead of the the basics plus a big load of potatoes (the big portion of potatoes is great tho because you won't finish your meal with an unfilled stomach). So overall very good. The old Manor gives a more cosy ambiance too.View more

Went for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was empty upon arrival & the hostess wanted to sit us in the corner. When I asked for the nicer table by the window, she said she would have to check because they had reservations. I told her that we too had reservations & that today was my birthday so I would appreciate it if we could have a nicer table. Eventually we were given the table by the window. Server was OK, knowledgeable, but not wonderful. My steak was not cooked the way I asked (over cooked) but I did not mention it because I wanted to eat at the same time as the others at my table. Garlic mashed potatoes are amazing & never disappoint! Ordered two desserts, & they were out of meringue (for the lemon tart). They through it out plain, no garnish whatsoever on the plate. We were billed for both desserts (when we went for my father’s birthday in the summer, they brought his dessert on the house). The tables in our room were still empty when we left. This experience was really meh. In fact I think three stars is probably too generous.View more
