Cocktails were world class & highly creative. The family style meal was a great way to cater to all the tastes in the group. We got a mix of standard & veggie, & glad we did. We typically sit at the bar & share three or four small plates. Our most recent visit hit all the right notes: interesting flavours & textures in the food. Maybe simple dishes but with a definite flair. Service from Sam behind the warm was warm, charming & attentive. Every neighbourhood should have a Belmont !Voir plus
I discovered a new hole in the wall with extremely fulfilling cocktails, including some tasty bits. Can't go wrong with the beef tartare & the trini doubles here tasty but not as fresh as I thought they would be. Also the chutney was awesome.Voir plus

Very cute little restaurant in Glebe. Not many tables to you should make a reservation. We did walk in & got lucky- seems like they can accommodate pretty well including bar seats. A diverse little menu with nice items- everything in 20-25$ range. Drip coffee 3$ on top of your meal - it was standard. I got the full Belmont which was generous! Salad for breakfast? Was delicious actually. Eggs & the best beans ever! Bacon typical. Thick Hamburger like sausage patty & potatoes that sometimes were a tad brand- might be better to dice them all instead of leaving them whole. Husband got the bacahlau & said it was VERY good! Ordered the ceviche, burrata, & peri-peri chicken. All were fantastic & loved the atmosphere at the restaurant as well. Would recommend making a reservation, even if it is a weekday, as they will sit you at the bar if they are fully booked - & the bar stools are quite uncomfortable.Voir plus

Food was all excellent, I would come back here again. This place is very busy, even nearing close. It took about half an hour for our party of 6 to receive our food.
It was my first time trying Turkish eggs & I enjoyed it. The house-made habanero based hot sauce was great!

Probably one of the best brunch spots in Ottawa.
The Belmont is a busy spot so I highly recommend a reservation if you can.
