Delicious Montreal style bagels & friendly service! I had the Stunner Sandwich with smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, cucumbers, watermelon radish, & house pickled jalapenos on a freshly made everything bagel. The jalapenos added a nice kick, & the crunchiness from the radish was a game changer! The biscuit with homemade Ontario peach jam & butter was delightful, not too sweet, & perfectly suited my taste. Okay listen up. This place secretly has the best fries in all of Ottawa. The texture is perfect: not too crunchy not too soft. The potatoes are fresh & whatever seasoning is on them is delicious. Nobody ever talks about the fries because it’s a bagel shop. Who gets fries? Me. Every time because they’re that good. You’d be hard pressed to find a better spot for them in town. Seriously. I'm a Montrealer that moved to Ottawa, & I'm confused about how the service is run at this place. Montreal bagel shops have a dedicated bagel service line & then another line for other foods. But here, there's a sort-of bagel line, where you can also order other stuff. The result that there are often long line-ups for bagels.View more
I haven't tried their bagels or hot food yet, but I was delighted with their grocery section! The only place I've found in Ottawa that carries matzo meal.
Also picked up some Nathan's pickles, smoked carp & whiskey mustard. Will def be back!View more
