LAGO was absolutely outstanding in every way for our wedding day. We got married on November 4, 2023 & it couldn't have gone more perfect. Gyneya & her team were so great to work with. She was very responsive to emails answering all our questions, helped us walk through the entire timeline & was there on the big day making sure everything ran smooth. The venue went above & beyond to provide lots of gluten free options for the menu (myself & a few guests have gluten allergies). We had all gluten free or d'oeuvres & they altered the sauce for the main dish to accommodate. They even went out of their way to purchase a specific seltzer when I mentioned that was my favourite drink. All the food & drinks were SOOO good. We did minimal decorations because the venue is beautiful on its own. We have had many guests reach out to us post-wedding to compliment the venue, the staff & the food. We are SO happy with our decision to host our wedding at LAGO & would 100% recommend this venue!View more

We got married at Lago on October 14th, 2023, & I can't say enough great things about them. The venue was absolutely beautiful & the food was amazing, but the real benefit of booking there is the staff. Leading up to the wedding, Gyneya was there to answer any possible question & to plan out the whole timeline of the day. Everything went so smoothly on our day, we didn't have to think of anything because the team was on top of it! My husband's jacket button popped off just after the ceremony & Gyneya immediately took it to fix, had it back to us in 10 minutes. Guests commented on how smooth everything was & the amazing service at both the bar & throughout dinner. We are so happy we went with them, our day was perfect.View more
Attended a wedding reception. Very nice venue. Parking lot had been relocated so there was a shuttle bus that picked us up & drove us back to the parking lot. Staff was very friendly & accommodating.View more
What a gorgeous venue. Gyneya is an amazing coordinator & couldn’t have asked for better. She is incredibly responsive & helpful. The venue speaks for itself with the waterfront views as well as the food they serve is mouthwatering. Our guests raved about it the whole night!View more
We got married at Lago having both our ceremony & reception in the Main Room in June 2023, & had the most amazing wedding day! We cannot speak highly enough of Gyneya & the staff at Lago, they are AMAZING! From our initial contact, Gyneya was so personable, detail-oriented, timely in her responses & patient with us. She was a dream to work with helping us to plan & coordinate all the details of our day. Gyneya was available to answer questions, offer suggestions & adapt to any changes leading up to the day. She was so understanding & reassuring throughout the whole process. On our wedding day Gyneya, Kim, Kailee & their team made sure everything was perfect. We had complete faith in how the day would run (exactly how you as a bride/groom want to feel on your wedding day!!). We had around 124 guests & the Main Room was perfect for accommodating everyone for a sit-down dinner, having cocktails at the bar (while they flipped over the space for reception) & sitting outside on the patio. The venue itself is stunning with wall-to-wall windows, & a view of Dow’s Lake, & the Arboretum (so many lovely photos!). We had very simple, & elegant decorations that we dropped off during our wedding week, & Lago set up for us. The food was deliciously curated, & the food/bar service was fantastic throughout the evening. We received so many compliments from guests on every element of the day! Lago really values weddings, & their couples, & goes above & beyond to make sure your day is as you have envisioned it, special & memorable. Thank you so much, we are so grateful!

Gyneya, Kim & Kayly were absolutely awesome with email communication, allowing us to view the room & ask questions, setting up the venue decor, & overall keeping me & the groom organize during the wedding! They made sure we were well hydrated & fed, & helped us when we we having issues!
These ladies really made our day magical & organized, & all of their staff were super nice, friendly & quick with the drinks & entrees!
Not only was the service amazing, the food was DELICIOUS!! I can't stop thinking about the duck confit & mango sorbet!View more
We chose Lago for our wedding venue for our August 2023 wedding & we are SO happy we did. Lago is not only incredibly beautiful with its massive windows overlooking Dow's Lake & the beautiful interior, but the staff are AMAZING. Gyneya went above & beyond in helping us with all aspects of our wedding planning & was so kind & patient when I felt a little lost with all of the details. On the day of the wedding, Gyneya & her team worked with our other wedding vendors to ensure that our day went off seamlessly.
