Elmdale Tavern has a great atmosphere & an elevated menu. There were 7 of us, 3 generations. We enjoyed several apps (lobster arancini, popcorn shrimp, shrimp tacos) then lobster & shrimp grilled cheese & chowder. Good selection of craft beers. The music was great, noisy & fun atmosphere (but we could all hear each other). Great food, great service. Highly recommendVoir plus

We went on a Friday evening, & everyone was happy with their meal. I had the lobster roll, my husband had the fish & chips, & my friend had the vegetarian option - chef created on demand. It was all delicious, but I would have liked the lobster roll without mini shrimp added. Also, it would have been nice with a bit of chopped celery & more mayo, but it was still very good! The place was rather loud when we first arrived at 6:30pm, but then quieted shortly after. The only real complaint is that the seats were not comfortable. My husband had a very hard time because the chair seat was very narrow, & I didn't like that the seats were not padded. Otherwise had a great time & enjoyed our food!Voir plus
Horrible horrible horrible
They treated us like crap & they clearly do not like having people of colour or Arabs in their establishment. I was made to feel like a second class citizen from the moment I got in. I was upset at how they treated me & called them out on their discrimination. I was more kind to them then they deserved. I ended up calling them a Kevin after they discriminated against me so they asked me to leave but I had already paid & was already leaving. They seem to be sexist & prejudiced against people of colour. Too bad.
