We stayed in the Sheraton Ottawa for 5 nights while visiting from the UK. The rooms are a little dated & the large gap between the door & the door frame does let in light from the hallway. That said they are a really good size & the king size beds are very comfortable & we had a great nights sleep. The team at the hotel are fantastic. From the minute we walked in on Christmas Eve & were greeted by Pam, we felt welcome. Check in was quick & we went to our rooms with extra tea bags & some delicious cookies & muffins courtesy of Pam. Perfect after a long day of travelling. The bag of sweets left on all door handles on Christmas morning was another lovely touch. The team in the bar/restaurant (particularly Fiona) were also great. Friendly, helpful & attentive they recommended food & drink & made us feel very welcome throughout. Every member of the hotel team we spoke to was great & they are a credit to the hotel. The location of the Sheraton is good with Parliament Hill a 5 minute walk away, with Byward Market & Rideau Centre Mall a little further. We reached all visitor attractions & restaurants by feet without the need for public transport. All in all we were very happy with the choice we made to stay at the Sheraton Ottawa & would recommend it to others.View more

I stayed one night at the Sheraton Ottawa. I enjoyed my stay & will return. This property has a full kitchen & bar; with happy hour, dinner specials, & buffet breakfast. The lounge was also accessible on 18. The service was great & the rooms were better than average.View more

In an age where customer service can be hit or miss, the Sheraton Ottawa seems to always hit. Every staff member is helpful, kind, & respectful. Great location, lovely & always immaculate, & wonderful staff.View more
We had a really fantastic stay here. The staff were super friendly & helpful. Only valet parking is available which is annoying, but you pay per night so you can stay all day the day you leave. The room was spacious & clean. They had soap in dispensing containers in the room which we really liked because it's more eco friendly that way. Great location too, just a short walk from the O-train.View more
We had a great experience from the check in to the check out. Pam greeted us at the front desk with a smile & a warm welcome & when I told her we were staying in the hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, she rushed off & brought back two incredibly delicious cupcakes with a happy birthday message. It was very thoughtful & it made for a great experience. The room, the restaurant & everything else was perfect.View more

Incredibly disappointed by this experience. Customer service was terrible. Our TV turned on by itself at full volume 6AM on Saturday morning, despite the remote being in the other side of the room. Even after turning it off via the power button on the TV it turned on again, & it wasn't until I unplugged both USB cords connected that it stayed off. Reception was unhelpful & it took them more than 36 hours for someone to follow up after being told we'd receive a follow up after the manager arrived for the day. Reception had no control over some teenagers playing in the lobby & the elevator pressing every single floor & the turning on the emergency call button. Just a bummer for a Sheraton.View more

Convenient spot downtown, short walk to Parliament, restaurants & a subway stop nearby. Beds were comfortable, clean room, staff friendly & internet solid for remote working. Bartender downstairs was friendly & made some great drinks!View more
Have stayed here many times, it's my go to for Ottawa. The pool has been out of commission for over a year, the valet parking garage is under construction, & the hotel is not super accessible, but it's very clean, the staff are extremely helpful & you can walk to parliament, restaurants etc very easily.View more
Rooms were big but outdated. I had flies coming from the since in the bathroom. When I let reception know, just received a shoulder shrug. Lots of construction outside so request a higher room so it’s not at noisy.View more
This place has excellent staff. Pam you sure do welcome your guest with the right approach. Place itself was great though a little disappointed that the pool was not functional. This should be taken out from all sites as it is misleading. My son was disappointed. Over all I would surely return when the pool is functional.View more

I wasn’t impressed, all the staff seemed very stressed. As an ambassador I didn’t feel like I got any special treatment, not even a welcome letter. Location is good.View more
