J'adore le Bistro! Nous avons reçu un excellent service de Chloé qui était efficace, souriante & toujours attentive à notre groupe de 16 personnes. La nourriture était excellente, aucune erreur de commande & l'ambiance était à la fête. Les prix n'ont pas augmenté comparativement à plusieurs autres restaurants. Been at the Bistro Mexicana a few times over the Summer & Fall. Food & service is always excellent, & we really enjoy the one-man band on Thursdays. Prices are very reasonable also. I always order the 4-beer bucket special. Really happy to have this gem in Aylmer. Almost forgot, they have the best patio in Aylmer. A+View more

We decided to eat at Bistro Mexicana on a whim last night while driving by at dinner time. We are seasoned travellers to Mexico & know authentic Mexican cuisine when we see it. This meal was the closest thing we've ever had in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Not only was the food phenomenal but it came to the table, hot & the service was equally amazing. Honestly one of the best mexican food restaurants I've been too! Portion/quality/pricing is unbeatable & they have a great terrasse for vibes! Definitely will be my new ritual everytime I'm in the city.View more
Food was great, tasted fresh & had good flavour. Server was awesome, we were well tended to & checked on. I wish there were more vegetarian options that aren't chili, & that they had hot sauces available. The jalapeño salsa I was offered instead was absolutely delicious though.
Edit to reply: As mentioned, our server was great. She did mention the fajitas as well as the enchilada. I still would have liked more veg options that aren't chili. Maybe a bean & cheese burrito, sweet potato, etc. This was a positive review, we all enjoyed our meals. You can take the feedback or leave it, but don't blame your server. She's a credit to you.
